Southern Manganese Group Daxin Project
Overview
Industrial ammonia-nitrogen wastewater primarily comes from fertilizer production, coking, petrochemicals, pharmaceuticals, food processing, and landfills. This wastewater poses significant risks to human health and ecosystems. The project treats and recovers 1,200m3/day of high-hardness manganese-containing wastewater with ammonia-nitrogen, aiming for regulatory-compliant discharge while maximizing resource recovery and water reuse.

Pre-Treatment + Membrane Filtration System To address this challenge, Huachuang Group has developed and implemented an advanced “Pre-Treatment + Membrane Filtration System”with flexible operation, mild reaction conditions, and a compact design that minimizes space requirements. With high automation enhancing efficiency and rapid deployment ensuring quick production and installation, the system delivers a cost-effective and sustainable solution for wastewater treatment. |

Process Description Filtration & Reuse System:The “Self-cleaning filter + UF1 + RO1 + RO2” process is applied to treat manganese-containing wastewater, ensuring high-quality purification. The RO2 membrane permeate meets reuse water quality standards, allowing for either discharge or reuse. Recovery & Treatment of Metallic Manganese: The RO1 membrane concentrate undergoes a pre-treatment and multi-stage filtration process, including hardness removal pre-treatment, flotation, microfiltration, UF2, NFR, and RON. The RON-treated effluent is recirculated into the RO2 membrane system for further purification, while the NFR concentrate, with a manganese concentration of approximately 8g/L, is returned to the electrolytic manganese production system for metal recovery. |
